v      ENTER TO WIN A TURKEY:  The Camden County Elected Officials have donated turkeys to be given away!    Enter the drawing in front of the Courthouse!  Winners will be announced at 2:15 PM [must be present to win, limit one per family].

v      CONTESTS:   Enter the “Present” wrapping contest for the best wrapped present. Vote on the best decorated motorcycle that will be on display.

v      PRIZE DRAWINGS:  Children 12 and under can enter the drawing by bringing canned goods for the Lamb House.  Prizes will be given away every 15 minutes from 12:15 – 2:00 PM

v     CRAFT TABLES  –Children and their families can make ornaments for themselves or for the community tree, make reindeer food or  yummy chocolate snowmen!

v     “CAN-DO CHALLENGE” – We are challenging Churches, civic clubs, youth groups and other organizations to bring canned goods to the Square to help the Lamb House stock the shelves.  This year there will be 3 Can-Do categories with prizes for the most collected in each category: Churches and Church Youth Groups; Businesses and Organizations; and Youth Groups [not Church affiliated].  We encourage groups to take canned goods to LAMB House throughout the year.  Prior to delivering the canned goods, stop by the Chamber office [739 W. US Hwy 54 in Camdenton] to turn in your count, then deliver the canned goods to LAMB House.  Canned goods can also be turned in on the day of the event on the Square between 11 AM and 1 PM.  Be sure to pre-count cans.  Winners will be announced at 2:15 PM. Additional Can-Do categories include, individuals, families and youth individuals [12 and under].  For more information call the Chamber at 573-346-2227.

v     SANTA ARRIVES * 11:30 AM

This year Santa will be on the Square while all the other activities will be going on so that more children have an opportunity to visit.  He will arrive by fire truck at 11:30 AM and will be available until the end of the activities at 2:30 PM.   Children will have the opportunity to give Santa their “wish list”.  Be sure to bring along your camera for that special visit with Santa!
